Zone Management
Guide to managing warehouse zones in Lager Guru.
Overview
Zones are physical areas within your warehouse used for organizing inventory and optimizing picking routes.
Creating Zones
- Navigate to Admin → Zone Management
- Click Create Zone
- Configure:
- Zone name
- Zone code
- Coordinates (X, Y, Z)
- Zone type
- Capacity
- Save zone
Zone Coordinates
Zones use a 3D coordinate system:
- X: Horizontal position
- Y: Vertical position
- Z: Depth/level
Coordinates are used by the routing engine to calculate optimal pick routes.
Zone Types
- Storage: Standard storage zones
- Picking: Active picking zones
- Staging: Staging areas
- Shipping: Shipping zones
Zone Relationships
Configure zone relationships:
- Adjacent zones
- Zone hierarchy
- Access paths
